What I support is other governements having the right to operate on their own without our "morals" being pushed on them constantly. They have a right to their own laws. I do agree with a lot of the laws in Saudi, I don't agree with a lot. Nonetheless, they have the right to operate on their own. I don't think it should be legal for people to openly have sex with people they're not married to. I don't believe anything that corrupts the society as a whole should be considered a "personal freedom".

my husband lived in saudi arabia for 10 years. he said they would have killed them on the spot if this were true and not arrested them. secondly, no one would have gone to a gay marriege anyway.

There really was a gay wedding bust a few years ago... it was reported in Arab News but it was ex-pats and not saudis.

I don't know if this report is true or not because I haven't seen it in any Arab news yet.

Stating my opinion about it does not count as my trying to "force" it on you. Now, if I was lobbying for Congress to replace the Constitution with the Sharia then you would have something to complain about.
