Filling out of G-325A Form for K-1 Visa

I am filling out my G-325A, Biographic Information form to send with the I-129F application and need help with a few areas.

My father passed away in 1999 :( - do i put "Deceased" instead of his information, or do i still put his information they ask for with "Deceased" in brackets and n/a for the City and Country of Residence?

I'm listing my residence from the last five years, my City and Province/State names don't fit in the space provided, either 1 or 2 letters don't fit - is this a problem, or must i shorten the words to their abbreviated names?

There is a question at the bottom that says "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:" and gives a choice of "Naturalization", "Status as Permanent Resident" or "Other (Specify)" to chose from, which do i chose for a K-1 Visa?

Thank you for your help.

Hi there!

Ever since they came out with the new G-325A form, many members had trouble filling out the information because USCIS made the fonts too big! That's why a lot of the info doesn't fit in the spaces provided.

Visit this post: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/226643-fillable-g325a-address-issue/

And scroll down to the user named Stephen + Elisha He was able to unlock the G-325A form and change the standard format size! You can download the form by clicking on the links he provides in his post signature. I used this form recently on my AOS application, so it should work out for you too. :)

My answers to your questions below in blue.

Hope this helps!

You can put that information under City and Country of Residence

I'm listing my residence from the last five years, my City and Province/State names don't fit in the space provided, either 1 or 2 letters don't fit - is this a problem, or must i shorten the words to their abbreviated names?

The new G-325A form I pointed our for you to download and fill out should be able to address your concern. Otherwise, prepare a separate document using Microsoft Word and answer the question there. Make sure you type the question that corresponds to the answer...and on the form, just type See Attached. Don't forget to print out the spare sheet and attach it to your G-325A! :)

Yes, select Other (Specify) then type K-1 visa :)

Thank you for your help.

I would think that you would still need to put in your late fathers name, DOB, and place of birth, in order for them to do a background check on you. And then put deceased in the city and country of residence field.

Anything that you can't fit into the address fields on the computer, you need to write it in by hand, very neatly

And as on the example form on this website, for the question that you refer to at the bottom. You need to cross the 'Other' box, and specify as I-129F.

Hope this helps. Be sure to read the guides and example forms, they are very helpfull.
