I need your opinion and advices about this case:

Found out lately that diagnosed Hepa B carrier. Doctor says that there is no medicine and the vaccine is useless. According the Doctor no worries because HBeAg is non reactive and Antibodies is reactive.

The concern is the medical examination coming soon it is ground of not approval of the medical or ground of visa denial.

It need to tell first the Physician at Saint Luke before examination begin?

I am looking forward your kindhearted advices or opinion this case.

Thanks and God Bless!!!

Good day!!..we are sorry to hear about that..honestly,whether you will tell them ahead or hide it from them, they will still know about it coz they will get blood sample from you and as far as I know, they will run different test on your blood..so definitely they will still know...sometimes, they say it's better to have TB than to have Hepa coz with TB you can be treated for two months with your sputum culture(sorry don't know the exact term..)and once you are negative, your visa processing will just be delayed for two months..yes, Hepa B has no treatment and you can't be vaccinated unless its not reactive..just follow your doctor's advice and stay healthy..God always provides..pray and have faith!!..God bless..

You have to be open about all medical conditions you have when you go for your medical examination. Show them the records from the doctor who diagnosed you. St. Luke's will determine if you need the vaccine (which, contrary to what your doctor said, can be administered to adults.) Don't try to hide your illness...because you are a carrier, you can transfer Hepa B to your spouse or your future children.

I've seen others with Hep B pass the medical and end up getting their visas. They were required to show evidence they were taking medication and would continue doing so when they were in the US. Most important you inform your mate as it is infectiuos and precautions must be taken as it's a STD.

Go to a different doctor.

It is also transmitted by just living with someone who is a carrier because it is in body fluids and blood, not just an STD. Suggest anyone in the house be vaccinated against it if they havent been already.

Your getting alot of bad information here. Let me clear it up.

The Hep-b vaccine works depending on the stage/type you have.If you are a Hep-B carrier, the vaccine WILL NOT work for you period. Your a carrier and have not experienced any illness from it.Your blood tests will show positive and your body has not developed antibodies. You will be a carrier for the rest of your life. First and foremost, you have a responsibility to inform your partner/fiance about this if you havent already. 50% of Hep-b is spread through unprotected sex. That means you will need to use protection(condom) from here on out. Also anyone that may come in contact with your body fluid(medical professionals)or even sneezing on someone could transfer the virus.

Tell the doctor at St. Lukes. They will find out in blood tests anyways and its a great time to ask questions. If you get approved or not I can't say with any certainty. Good luck.
