Different times from CSC to NVC?

Does it vary a lot in how much time it takes our approved cases to be sent to NVC? I have seen quite a few that have been sent lately, but I just called about ours and they said it had still not been received.

Ok, I know that after waiting for so long at CSC I should have learned to be patient, but I am ready to go dang it!!!

Our NOA2 was dated Aug 3.

Good luck to you, too. I am sure there are others waiting like us, but I see so many people blowing past us that I am getting frustrated. Oh well... I am going to go cook some dumplings and try to relax...

Looks like some of us are William... and strangly enough, people that were approved on Aug 3rd. I checked the DHL site, and saw 3 petitions had been sent to Rio in the past week, don't know whats going on.

If memory serves me correct, I believe some people called the NVC in the past and were told they had not received they're case, then they called the Consulate, and the Consulate said they had received it. Or I think some people ended up getting Packet 3 before NVC said they ever received it... so again... who knows

Haven't been around in a few weeks, but notice you were approved, a HUGE Congrats to you and your bride to be my friend.

Hey, appreciate the Congrats. Good to be here on NVC, of course, I still hang out in K-1 too.

Anyway, it appears that "this process" has a few wrinkles too. No surprise, the USG at work here!!

Does anyone have the NVC number handy?

Yup, here ya go (603) 334-0700. You'll want to push 1 for English, then 5 to be transferred to a live person. You can push them right away, no need to sit and listen to the messages.

Some case numbers (A#) start with LIN, WAC and so forth.

Use the number from your NOA-1 I-797 Document.

Our NOA2 was dated Aug 3.

Usually it takes about 1-2 weeks for NVC to receive the approved case from CSC.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
