PS One moral you forgot. Most people, including muslims, don't spend 24/7 trying to scheme how to kill someone. Yet. the reality is that there are a growing number of foreign and home grown muslims who are scheming 24/7 on how to KILL as many AMERICANS as they can..

How many suicide bombings in the last 5 years have been christians / non-christian in comparison to muslims, who are TRYING to kill non-muslims?? How can one just pretend this does not exists??

If the plot in the UK had not been discovered over 4,000 people would have died.. Do people understand this concept.???

Agreed but ignorance and naivity breeds death. World war II was a great example of this. The world stood back and did nothing. Even played down hilters intentions. The end result was 50,000,000 people DEAD!.

The same thing is happening nowadays. The difference is that Hilter and co were not guided by religious fundamentalists. Islamic Fundamentalists believe there is no limit in the measures they can take to get their twisted point across. They make hilter look like a child..

How about finding some stats on this to discuss instead of the vague inference you make? How many are we really talking about? In the last 5 years versus before? Is it getting worse or is everyone in the US more hyper-wound about seeing it.

I'm always amazed at US reactions now that terrorism has been brought home. Ask any Londoner why they haven't had trashcans on their sidewalks for 20 years...none of this stuff is particularly new. People here in the US just finally got their wake up call.

main issue is that we (the west) extol the virues of the need for oil (fossil fuel) on a needless technology. we have the tech to engineer vehicles that can and will run on other sources... including H2O. the ME needs the west to buy the oil.. or their economies collapse due to no influx of revenue (not in the amounts of Oil). the west states that we want to protect our investments there... so we get to have military base to protect it. other concessions i'm sure are also in there as well (Israel for one) and their gov'ment agreed... else we wouldnt be buying oil if they refused to sell it to us. only thing.. their gov'ment gets corrupted (like ours) due to influx of lots of of $$.. which goes to individuals' pockets, and not really to help their own ppl out.. but who gets the blame? Only what is seen by the many... oil rigs pumpin oil outa the soil with Western Companies' names on them. and to keep the ppls eyes off of the real problem.. their gov'ment encourages this view to keep the $$ flowing into their own pockets.

yes western leaders look away at atrocities beneath the nose... who wants to believe that such shite exists, and hope it'll go away. burying heads in the sand doesnt work.

but again.. which billions do you prefer to die?
