yeah and what i would see is islamic fundamentalists bombing and killing their own people. They have brought it on them selves and not us.. I don't see the west going to iran and blowing up buses of innocent children or school children just because we don't agree with their way of life..

What I thought was interesting was that in that table, Indiana has the 4th largest % of Muslims of the total state population.

Is there bad muslims using Islam as their justification? Yes. Are there things that can be taken out of context to justify their actions? This is what the extremist/terrorist does. Just as Christians did so many years ago.

Everyone is an individual. Skin color, language, or religions should never be used to resent someone you dont know.

thats sad really cos my fiance and his family are the nicest people in the world. but as i tell my fiance, it is the muslim community's responsibility to publicy speak out againt the anit christian and anti muslim behavior and terrorist attacks. it seems to me that not enough has been done from the muslim commuity. there are good and bad people in every race and religion.

Yeah, and the US has never involved themselves in ME politics. Never supplied arms/firepower to one ME nation over another. Never got themselves involved in mediating peace talks.

No, maybe the 'west' didn't go to Iran and blow up buses DIRECTLY, but the 'west's' presence in the ME is pretty pervasive. If politics there could be manipulated for an agenda that furthered the 'west's' interests, you bet your bippy they've shown up. I would have a very hard time believing that at least part of the US' involvement in ME affairs not just for humanitarian reasons but also with at least a smattering of political gain. (And that's being generous.)

Yes, I believe that countries do "bring it on themselves" but in many cases other interested parties certainly fuel the flames.
