I know we've had a lot of recipe threads so I was curious if any vj peeps had favorite sites or blogs they go to for recipes and/or inspiration?

I usually have a long list of things to make on the weekends but this weekend I really have nothing lined up! I made wild mushroom risotto for dinner and ate so much parmigiana reggiano while waiting for the rice to cook, I can't even eat the risotto! I guess the only thing I really want to try to make this weekend is Ina Garten's scalloped tomato recipe

I want something to pop up and say "COOK ME!" and then all the ingredients magically appear in my kitchen! Is there a site like that?

lol.. I wish .. that would be great... sometimes I really dislike trying to come up with ideas for meals

I subscribe to a lot of food mags so I usually have a long list of new things I want to try.

I usually use food.com.. it used to be called recipezaar.com...

I like that one too, and allrecipes. There is one called cooks.com that has a lot of recipes, but it's not very fancy. No reviews or anything like that. It's ok if you feel like clicking through a lot of stuff. ;)

Marilyn - I made the oreo truffles on the bakerella site last year for thanksgiving or christmas (can't remember which one?) and everyone loved them. each time we get together they ask why I didn't make them. that's something I will only make once a year.
