Does NVC need English translations of documents?

There are many opinions on this.

If I were you, I would have translated non-English docs to English and submit to NVC.

If I were you, I would have translated non-English docs to English and submit to NVC.

Have any recommendations for cheap services that will notarize (etc.) the documents? I had some done, didn't make copies, and send them to USCIS.... :oops:

You can again make the translation and notarize it.

Emily (mamamimi) is the better person to answer it. She had done it herself between Spanish and English.

yes you should translate all documents not in english. I translated all the documents myself did not notarize or certified, I simply stated I was competent to translate..Good luck!!

Does NVC need English translations of documents?

No.As long as your interview will be in your country where they speak your language.I asked them just recently and they told me they are glad I asked because they changed that part-they required translations before(as it still says on the website) but they DO NOT NEED IT ANY LONGER. So we sent all the documents for my husband in his native language,he had his interview in his country and no translation was needed ever.
