No. Nudists are weirdos.

If ever you go to South Florida...

Haulover State Park Beach.

Enough said. Now excuse me while I get some fresh air to get over the sudden bout of nausea.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

In my younger days I went to Blacks Beach often. The great thing about that beach was you had to be in good enough physical shape to rock climb down the cliff. It kept the old and fat away.

Blacks Beach? That's near San Diego. Was this when you were in the Navy?

I do it often, outside (and in back) at the house. (I've 2 acres of very private land, nothing is visible from the street or neighbors)

But to go to a nude beach, or a nude gathering?

TO ME, much depends on the attitude of the other people there -

ie - if they are 'nudists' already, then I have no issue. If it's a 'private, members only' nude place, I have no issue, as the staff usually keep out the riff-raff.

If they are not nudists, then is some titillating factor for 'going nude' - and really, for that, I just don't see the point.

Plus one, Darnell.

I would never do that. Not because I have qualms about it (I don't), but because I see that as an extreme act of cruelty on anyone unfortunate enough to see me.

Actually, that beach has set me to start this thread. My husband and I went to San Diego two days ago. His business meeting ended at 2 p.m. so we decided to drive around Torrey Pines. We saw the sign "Torrey Pines Scenic Drive" so we followed it. We parked somewhere in the gliderport and walked in the area. We spotted a beach from the gliderport with people going up and down the trail. We took the trail that led us to the beach, still clueless about the nature of our path. At the end of the trail and on the shore, we were just so surprised to see naked men. When we returned to the car, I Googled the name of the beach and learned that was clothing optional. :o Oh well, it's part of Torrey Pines State Beach. The southern portion which the city of SD partly manages doesn't allow nudists anymore. The northern section which is owned by CAPR still keeps the tradition.

I'm okay with it in theory, but the naked-friendly beach I go to in Mexico (the only one, by the by) ends up looking like a ####### parade. The men seem to really enjoy sharing the goods. You find them splayed like greased up porpoises as you're trying to take a walk. It's like a genital mine field. Breasts, everyone can agree on. Usually delightful. Penises are more of an acquired--ahem--taste. A face only a mother could love. Okay this analogy isn't working out.

Which beach in Mexico?

Which beach in Mexico?

Called Zipolite, southernmost tip of Oaxaca state. It's a bit of a hidden gem but I don't mind singing its praises because it seems to have a self-limiting mechanism when it comes to crowding. It's too hard to get to for most people, the undertow is flat-out deadly (the name is a Zapotec word meaning "beach of the dead"), there are no phones, and every few years a major fire seems to wipe out half the beach (as everything's built of dry palm fronds and hope).

But you can do whatever you want, the people that manage to get there are usually your more free-thinking/adventurous types, and the last time I was there, with Mr. Owl a year ago for four barefoot months straight, we had an oceanfront room with balcony, private bath and internet for 4 dollars a night. I will accept a lot of unsolicited penises for that kind of deal.

I'd go to the nude beach with Calypso, as long as IR5 didn't go too.

I have my own flock now, Spooky. :P

Grew up in a nudist family and have been many nudist places all my life. Has been many years though but have no qualms to disrobe if there are others around. Being married to a prude now though I do not expect to ever be at a place that allows it though.

Tsk, tsk... That means you have low convincing power if you couldn't coax her to visit such a place. :hehe: Just kidding. I'm only curious but not really interested in doing that. I might change my mind one day though and tell my husband about that.

:D My husband and I visited Puerto Vallarta two weeks ago. We only went as far as Quimixto. I can't imagine myself visiting Zipolite. the undertow is flat-out deadly (the name is a Zapotec word meaning "beach of the dead"), there are no phones, and every few years a major fire seems to wipe out half the beach (as everything's built of dry palm fronds and hope).

Exactly. Nothing wrong with valuing air conditioning and safety. This beach definitely attracts your oddball characters. I feel right at home.

I can't even convince her to go without a bra while wearing a shirt. She is worried people might see her nipple poking.helpsmilie.gif

You're probably asking her to go to the grocery store like that

Well yes, duh. I am going to the store. She wants to go. I say OK lets go and she runs to put a bra on. It is only a store and not one other babe is going to be wearing a bra probably and no one is going to care if she has one on as this is Texas.
