I admire you taking the time to try to show your side and your beliefs, but if I really want to know a lot about Islam I think my first step would be to read the Quran. I can't just go on what you say just like I can't just go on what hate sites say.

How can anyone have a discussion with you about this? People are specifically discussing x, which you ignore, but then rant on about C. Then sticking to this, you know nothing about C. Which would be great, if we were discussing point C. Now that's what so typical of some posters on VJ.

Oh, I not only can say that no one here knows anything about Islam, I know I'm right when I say it. I didn't say you must learn from me, so where that comes from, I don't know. But, it's as easy for me to tell that no one on this board has ventured far from popular media or hate webs sites in what they've absorbed on this subject as it would be if they were bashing Christianity and using anti-Christian hate sites to get their info.

No one here in the thread or politics/religion forum? I don't think you can say no one knows anything about it. Once again, you are attempting to twist a post from its point - it's actual intention.

We never discussed Islam [point c], we discussed the actions of those committing atrocities in the name of Islam and during the last ten years [point x].

The rest are pike grade BS, used when one has no legitimate point on the matter. For example, the reality that country 'a' has 100 times the homicide rate of the first world means nothing to Pike, because not all do it.

Actually, you just proved earlier points in other recent threads, that you use the same labels and excuses in every single discusison. Where did I bring up anything you have accused me of? We could be discussing cheese types and you will bring up what you claim I said about blacks or whoever, four years ago. Get a life man.

The old join in on someone disagreeing with a person I dislike, has no effect on me. No one here is going to stop having a discusison because you deem them a bigot or racist.

Ironically, you may want to read up on the definition of Bigot, because it evidently seems you are the prime example of it. You have a complex issue accepting anyone with differing views to that of your own, much in the same way your mate Hal and Scandal does. All three come into any thread with this sanctimonious attitude that you know better than everyone else, when in reality all three are simply -------.

muslims... please god tell them they need to speak out against the extremists more often. also, god, please tell them to do their absolute best to align with christians on political issues.... get on the same moral team.
