If you would of seen the PM I received a few months ago from PI Wife, It is a violation of the TOS of this site.

If you felt that you were harassed or threatened "a few months ago", why didn't you take it up with Captain Ewok a few months ago? :unsure:

2010/05/__ - Engagement (unofficial)

2010/07/19 - Filed I-129F

2010/07/27 - Check cleared

2010/08/21 - 3rd Call to USCIS call center, finally got our Case #, still no mail

2010/09/01 - NOA1 official date

2010/09/07 - NOA1 received, FINALLY!!!

2010/10/06 - Touched (expedite request callback from USCIS, giving us the requirements)

2010/10/07 - Finally got the papers from the doctor and submitted requirements for expedite

2010/10/07 - Touched with callback

2010/10/14 - USCIS website says it's APPROVED!!! mailed

2010/10/19 - received at NVC

2010/10/21 - NVC sent documents to the US Embassy in Manila

2010/10/23 - 2nd Visit the the Phils, touchdown in Manila & flight to Samar, Pamamanhikan for brunch, Engagement Party for dinner

2010/10/24 - Picnic with close family and friends

2010/10/25 - Engagement Party with family in Manila

2010/10/26 - Leave the Phils back to the US

2010/11/22 - Interview at the US Embassy in Manila - VISA APPROVED!!!

2010/12/30 - POE in Las Vegas. TOGETHER AT LAST!

2011/03/06 - Married in Las Vegas

2011/05/03 - AOS, EAD & AP filing date

2011/05/11 - NOA1 for all

2011/05/24 - successful walk-in biometrics (originally 6/10)

2011/06/20 - got online status update and hardcopy of interview appointment dated 6/16 but scheduled for 7/26

2011/07/22 - AP approved, EAD card in production

2011/07/26 - AOS interview. RFE coz they LOST MY MEDICAL!!! GRRR!

2011/07/30 - EAD/AP combo card in the mail

2011/10/21 - finally got my GREENCARD after several complaints all over the place

Indeed, it seems strange that a rock star like LandingStrip, who fearlessly struts around Mindanao facing down the dangers of Abu Sayyaf and other assorted NPA's, cowers at a PM from a petite Pinay. :lol:

Okay, to even the score devil.gif, above is a fine example of a common mistake among Americans.Principle means rule or belief governing one's personal behavior. Principal, which means first, highest, or foremost in importance, rank, worth, or degree, should have been the correct word to use.

Anywho.. I know this is an old post but I only just read it.. and now you have me worried about which "principle" and "principal" I've been using. I tend to think of the "pal" one from the Simpsons episode where Flanders is the Principal and he says "I put the PAL back in PrinciPAL" so it's how I remember it... hmmm I wonder what I've been doing all these years...

I actually flagged it when it happened about 6 or so ago, and I sent a PM to Ewok

Then Visa Journey changed format and changed format, and all PM and everything was deleted or lost, I spent about 3 months off VJ due to work. So if I got a response it was wiped out when Visa Journey changed it format

I love a joke, but when you go out of your way to send me PM with regarding some ####### about some actor in USA who supposedly got banned from PI for making a comment about "Mail Order Bride"

And you then keep making comments about you scaring me from going to Philippines. Do you want me to go out of my way to find your posts?

Joke and have fun all you want, but when you cross the line and make it personal with me then I don't like it.

For myself, I dearly love to learn Gemmas culture and her use of English. I think her English is quite good and the nuances just add to her charm :) In my work I speak over the phone with people from several countries & I am always flattered that someone would spend the time and effort to learn a second language. Out of respect for that, tolerance should be extended.

I feel badly when I speak with people using English and yet I struggle with their accent. For all their effort to use my language and yet I cannot understand them. When surrounded by people who all speak the language with the same accent, there is no change to be found. I am frequently getting in trouble in learning Tagalog, just a subtle mispronunciation completely changes the meaning of the word. Bayag/bayad, ingat/ingot..... poor Gem has been embarrassed by my awkward attempts more than once.

Tolerance gentlemen.... it is a foundation stone of love. Patience and understanding.
