Well it in the title really,

I got the card production ordered email for my I-765, on my birthday, not a bad gift.

But, do i need to wait for the docs to arrive or can i accept some work now.?

I am chomping at the bit to get working again.. walls closing in.. money running out.. and the usual madness of bordem. :bonk:

There were at least two recent cases who were approved for their EAD the SAME DAY the people got their biometrics. They've been pretty on the ball with it lately it seems.

You don't need to wait for the card, you have 10 days (from memory) to produce the card once you accept work.. bearing in mind if you DON'T show the card in 10 days, trouble could ensue.. so i'd wait personally, shouldn't take too long

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to " Working & Traveling During US Immigration" as this is relating to an EAD**
