:D Our interview was August 16, and we were told that in a couple of months we would hear the decision about our case. Well, we came home Monday from Tennessee, and much to our surprise we had mail from USCIS in our mailbox! As I was mildly freaked out I opened the letter and it said "WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!" I thought I would pass out! I screamed at the top of my lungs, "WE WERE APPROVED!" Nobody knew what I had opened, but they soon found out what it was and we all had a shoutin' good time! We praise the Lord for His goodness to us and are so thankful for this new stage of our life! We will be leaving for Peru in April to visit our family and I will meet them for the first time face-to-face. I can't wait! It has been nearly 10 years since my husband has seen most of his family and 6 years since he has seen his parents, so it will be a WONDERFUL time!

I know I haven't been on here much to post, but I have read a lot and learned much from this site. I thank each of you for keeping my hope alive and for answering so many questions without even knowing it! I pray that the Lord bless each of you as He has our family! God bless!
