Hi

Can anyone tell me how long approx it takes for them to log details into the system?

We called dos today and they said it's showing that they are still waiting for packet 3 from me... I mailed it 3 weeks ago and it shows that someone signed for it on 18th Aug.

I went for my medical on 27th Aug and the details from that are already in the system so i'm getting a little concerned in case they've lost my packet 3.

Thanks

It takes a while. Many of us who recently sent the P3 were waiting 3-4 weeks before things were logged. If it takes another 3 weeks, then start to worry. Right now you are still in the standard wait time.

Things really slow down in August as a lot of the Embassy staff come home for a vacation. It takes a while for them to catch up when they get back to work. When I was in England my work had me in almost daily contact with the Embassy and August was a nightmare to get things done.

What to expect at the POE - WIKI entry
