It seems like USCIS will check the package and send RFE if there is something missing. I looked some VJ members' timeline and most of them got RFE around biometric appointment. So far I haven't received any RFE yet, so I believe my package is OK right now. But still, I only sent in 3 months pay sub instead of 6 months (but there is YTD earning which is way over the requirement) so I am ready for RFE once they check my I-864 details.

05/15/2010 - NOA received

05/29/2010 - Name correction notice (wrong name on NOA)

06/01/2010 - Name correction confirmation received

06/03/2010 - Requested NSC expedite my case, rejected on 6/12

06/15/2010 - Called USCIS CS and asked for expedite. Faxed a expedite as well (again.)

06/16/2010 - Received an e-mail for more doc based on the call I made on Jun 15.

Congrats!!!!No they dont notify you unless they want something from you(RFE) or when they have scheduled the interview or a card production for yor EAD. Check the website for updates on your status. You normally see a soft LUD on your case after you have done the biometrics but that is it. We are all waiting to see what's next, which I am sure is torturing most of us.

Good luck!

The reason that I gave the customer service rep when I expedited it was financial loss to an individual but they didn't ask me for any specifics or evidence so I'm pretty much just waiting for the denial email for the expedite request... I 've heard that contacting the congressman for help really helps but I think I'd rather just wait out the 90 days.

I dont know much about the expedited process other than what I read in the forum. I dont think it is faster but who knows. I hope you get it soon though and be hopeful that it is not denied, you never know. I hope the position will still be open at your aunt in law's office. My opinionis that you are still gonna get it anyhow so contacting your congressman for this when you dont even know if you might have more serious issues later that might require his help seems a bit trivial to me. You might be just using up your one get out a jail free card :) Wish you all the best on whatever you choose to do! :star::star:

Congrats! When I saw your post I was hoping it was the interview letter, forgot that you have a RFE. As soon as they receive your package and document it, your case will be resumed.

Best wishes!
