Dont worry although I know its harder to do than say.

I got a soft touch after I did the biometrics on Monday.

I was looking at the timelines in the May and April forums and they seem to receive their interview letter within 4 to six weeks after the biometrics so hopefully we will get our soon.

As to what I have read they never seem to update the status re: the interview letter so we will just have to check the mail constantly :clock:

I got a soft touch after I did the biometrics as well, but other than that nothing.

Hi Everyone,

I read in the July forum that if we did a walk-in biometric then we would normally receive an interview letter one week after our original appointment date. So today would be my appointment date so I am gonna see if this really works. Hopefully I will get something next week.

Sorry mimi, that's not true. Look at our timeline. It depends on the volume of your local office and how soon they can get you in. However, I wish you a speedy process!

AOS for my husband

:crying::crying: Had to burst my little ball of hope. I was looking at a previous filer who had the same district office as I do so I am not too worried. Did you do a walk-in for your biometrics or did you wait until your scheduled appointment date?

Thanks

I know! I am sorry for being a spoil sport. :( It was just hard to wait so long and I sooo thought we'd be done faster. We were turned down for walk-in biometrics BUT someone else in April filers did walk-in biometrics and ended up waiting 60 DAYS for her appointment letter. So if the office is backed up, it doesn't matter. Really, sorry to be a downer! good luck!! :D

Waiting patiently...although this process is nerve wrecking :-(...Based on other timelines i've realised that most EAD cases are adjudicated a little over a month from when they had biometrics done. I hope we're all that lucky. :-D

I was looking at the August filers forum to get a perspective of time. Your right star_boy - it seems like after the biometrics it's about 30 days for an EAD email/text, approval, production. If this is true, my aunt's case should receive some sort of EAD notice around 11/13. Let's wait & see.

9/13/10 sent packet

9/15/10 arrive @ lockbox

9/22/10 email confirmation

9/22/10 check cashed

9/23/10 available at USCIS.gov

9/27/10 touch

10/01/10 received biometric appointment for Oct. 13

10/13/10 Biometrics

10/14/10 last touch

I know it is. I have to try and keep myself occupied not to think about it but its really hard to do. I typed in my timeline in VJ and it gave me the approximate date which is within a month so you are correct, however, we may receive our interview letters before the EAD.

Nope I never sent those in before. Especially the W2 because we had a consult with some immigration officers and they said we wouldn't need it because my husband is Active Duty Military.

Oh ok. I am sorry about that. Seems to me that they are misinformed because yes your husband is on active duty but how would USCIS really confirm that and his salary amount. My denial was for a W2 form that my sponsor received from his employer and he has been in the NYPD for a very long time so it doesnt matter what you put on paper USCIS want to see evidence. Its better to send it and let them return whatever they dont need.

Hope you get everything to them as quickly as possible so you can move on in this journey!

Good Luck!!!!

Exactly what I thought too and inquired about then they told us we could use his 3 most present LES (pay stub) since the bottom portion of it is similar to a W2 form. Oh well I found it (w2) after I received the RFE just waiting for his birth certificate now so we can get this ball rolling again.

Good luck to you too.
