A short while ago I was in the same place as all of you. My advice, be patient, everything will come sooner or later. And before you know it it is all over :)

Good luck to you all!

hi Robert, I notice from your timeline that you sent I-130, I-485 and I-765 to Chicago - did you put all of your forms in one package and sent them all together? did you put separate checks for I-130 and I-485 and just put it in the same package? I'd appreciate your reply, thank you!

I've been looking on some timelines and in most of them they had "touch" beside a form or something. I was wondering what does that mean or is referring to?

A touch is when you see a more recent date on uscis.gov. This usually means something happened to your case. It may either be it was looked at, picked up, or may other possibilities. This doesn't necessarily mean you case is advancing. There are cases that only have one touch, and then receive final notice while other are touch everyday and no final decision is received.

I am following my aunt's AOS case. She was approved for I-130, and has submitted an AOS & EAD. Timeline below:

9/13/10 sent packet

9/15/10 arrive @ lockbox

9/22/10 email confirmation

9/22/10 check cashed

9/23/10 available at USCIS.gov

9/27/10 - touch
