Hi Everyone,

I have been here quite a while hoping that it will be over soon. I had my I-130 approved in August but I-485 denied because we failed to submit one single document. The W2 from my joint sponsor. Anyhow I have refiled again and hopefully everything will go smoothly this time.

They didn't send you an RFE for the W2? That makes me kind of worry because my sponsor didn't have a W2 last year.. he was unemployed the whole year and was a full-time student, and he wrote a letter and explained that as a supporting document... hope they'll accept that. We still included his tax transcript from last year though because he got some kind of education refund... Hopefully they'll overlook our situation since we have a joint sponsor~!

Hey zeezawrydan, I noticed that too. My package arrived on the 20th and I keep checking my email and my bank account, but nothing yet. From other VJer's timelines it looks like it takes approximately 10-12 before the USCIS cashes the checks. I just want to get an email stating I'm in the system. Hopefully I will get that by mid-week next week. We can keep each other informed of our progress. I will add you as a friend. :thumbs:

Hi,

They sent me a RFE for proof of status but did not get another for the W2. I dont think you have much to worry about since you sent a letter. Hopefully they will send an RFE if the need something from you. The RFE and W2 was for my joint sponsor not my spouse.

My package arrived on Sep 16 and they cashed the check on Sep 22. so..right around a week or so. Did you file the e-notice paper?

Thanks for the information and Congrats for receiving your biometrics appointment. We called yesterday and they told me that our's has not been more than 30 days and they said to call back next week some time. Can you tell me where did you mail your pacakage? I did ours to Chicago( Concurrent Filing of I485, I130,EAD and advanced parole forms) and our receipt no's start with the letters MSC.

I mailed mine to the Chicago Lockbox also, but in my case i filed I-485 & EAD while you filed the I-130 along with yours. So that's prob why it's taking a little longer. But if it makes you feel better I've heard of people sending off their packages with the i-130 and the complete process was done in less or about 6 months. I sincerely hope all goes smooth for you.

Hey Mrs. Williams, i received my bio letter the week after my first NOA. but i sent i-485 and EAD. If your petition was already approve and you just sending in the aos package then you should probably be getting the Biometrics letter soon. I see you're from Jamaica I'm from Barbados myself. USCIS received my application on sept 4th but on the receipt it the receive date says Sept 14th so I assume it takes a few days before they put it in the system. Good luck!

Hey Star-boy I did the entire AOS package(I131, I130, I1485, I765, I864, I693). The first NOA was for form I131. Thats good to know though cause I'm driving myself nuts stalking the mail lol. I sent mine to the Chicago lock box. How far are you in your process?

lol @ stalking the mail. Well i have FP on Oct 1st, but i received a RFE for my 485 :-(...i think it's because i didn't submit my i-693 with the application. Try not to drive yourself nuts...well completely lol...this process is very time consuming just have to be patient i guess...we filed our i-130 petition in March and it got approve in august but i also got an RFE for that. lol
