Just wanted to share my interview experience w/ everhttp://www.ticker.7910.org/engyone!

We got to the federal building at about 11AM today, it took about 5 minutes to get through the metal detector w/ all of our stuff and kids....the security guards were holding us up talking to our kids too lol but our appointment was at 11:30.

the 2nd floor had about 15 people already there, and we didn't get called in by an officer until 12:05pm... we were out of there by like 12:09pm. lol The officer told us to raise our right hands and promised to tell the truth, then she asked for our ID's.. then she asked me a few questions from this paper she had (if I had ever been arrested, been on any type of government assistance, if I have ever used any false documents for immigration benefits) then made my husband and I sign it. Then she asked for my children's birth certificates and I-94 (she kept all of the originals).. and then told me that I was approved and I should get my card within 2 weeks! That was it! Then she walked us to the exit... She didn't ask us for anything more, she didn't even say more than 1 sentence to my husband. Glad this is all over with!!!

Good luck to everyone else and hope the interview goes well for yall also!!! :):)

Congratulations! Be sure to put your review on your timeline page!

My wife's Green Card just came in today -- exactly 90 days after we sent in the AOS package!

Merry Christmas and good luck to all!

Hope you get your SSN soon. I applied today and my receipt said I should get it in about two weeks. If I havent received it within that timeframe to let them know. Maybe you should call and find out whats happening.

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but we had a really weird experience with our biometrics. We had our first appt back in November, EAD was approved and received. We thought we were just waiting for the interview letter, but then we received a letter saying the fingerprints weren't readable and need to be redone on 12/28. I thought the background check was required to receive your EAD, but apparently I was mistaken on that one :)

Anyway, a few weeks go by and we receive another notice that the fingerprints need to be redone and scheduled us for another biometrics appointment on 1/18. We took both letters with us to ASC yesterday to see what is going on and if we need to come back again. We spoke to a supervisor who told us to ignore the 3rd letter, the appointment we were at should be the only one we need. She also let us know that they only do the biometrics twice and if we receive another letter to call the USCIS because something very strange is happening.

Our case hasn't been touched again yet, but we'll keep everyone posted in case someone else is going through the same thing. One thing that the supervisor did tell us, apparently the ASC's have a hard time taking Asian people's fingerprints. I guess it's hard for them to show up on the scanner and a lot of them come back as unreadable.

6/5/10 - Entry on B2 via O'Hare (Chicago)
8/20/10 - Marriage
9/20/10 - Mailed concurrent I-485 & I-130 w/ I-765 & I-131

11/26/10 - Received AP in mail
