Thanks fella's...

Got there an Hr before time, sat and was cracking jokes with Wifey just to kill time and avoid being nervous. Got called 10mins after our scheduled appointment time.

Friendly IO, swore us in, and asked us about our country (We both from the same area)...then he just asked a few questions about our forms, to recall each others birthdays, asked about her school and where she worked, and inquired about my own school.

Asked us if we had new evidence apart from what he had on his desk, i just showed him a few love letters we had dating back from 06/07  ...he laughed, then he went through our bank details to ensure co-mingling of accounts and not just mere names without activity...he then went through our insurance, car title, Health insurance, plane tickets, gift receipts, our debit cards e.t.c.

Took about 10mins...then he said he would be recommending us for an approval after he runs our names in the system, and i should be expecting the GC in 10days time if everything is fine

We then cracked a few jokes and he walked us to the door.

So the wait continues for a few more days

Hope this is a good sign.

My question is...What do they mean by "Run our names through the system"?...is that like a background check or something. I dont have any criminal/fraudulent record..not even a traffic violation ticket  so i should be fine right?

Thanks people!...VJ has been Helpfull...and Yes i didnt use a lawyer, didn't see the reason to get one. VJ rocks

Just read your story, its indeed similar to mine, our IO was also kind enough to tell us when to send in my application for removal of conditions and path to citizenship.

He also took my F1 status I-94, so i guess thats a good sign as well right?

Just wanted to share my interview experience w/ everhttp://www.ticker.7910.org/engyone!

We got to the federal building at about 11AM today, it took about 5 minutes to get through the metal detector w/ all of our stuff and kids....the security guards were holding us up talking to our kids too lol but our appointment was at 11:30.

the 2nd floor had about 15 people already there, and we didn't get called in by an officer until 12:05pm... we were out of there by like 12:09pm. lol The officer told us to raise our right hands and promised to tell the truth, then she asked for our ID's.. then she asked me a few questions from this paper she had (if I had ever been arrested, been on any type of government assistance, if I have ever used any false documents for immigration benefits) then made my husband and I sign it. Then she asked for my children's birth certificates and I-94 (she kept all of the originals).. and then told me that I was approved and I should get my card within 2 weeks! That was it! Then she walked us to the exit... She didn't ask us for anything more, she didn't even say more than 1 sentence to my husband. Glad this is all over with!!!

Good luck to everyone else and hope the interview goes well for yall also!!! :):)
