Thanks for that. From other postings I think it usually takes 10 business days to get the actual card, so should I start the 10 business days from the 1st email for the card production or 2nd?

I got my EAD exactly a week after I got the approval email and had 2 touches and the email/sms notifications before I received the actual card. Mine was ordered twice too and then they emailed me on Friday notifying me that they sent my EAD out on Thursday, and got it on Monday.

Had our interview yesterday at the Indianapolis field office. Went very well. The officer was very pleasant and basically asked for confirmation of certain things on the forms, then asked if we brought anything to show her. We had leases, joint bank accounts, joint credit cards and some printed photos (printed on regular paper so she could file them) and some photo albums.

I think in all, it took only about 30 minutes (some questions and very much like a conversation) and then she said that my AOS was approved and to look out for the card in the mail in 4-6 weeks!

Thanks to VJ and all the people on the forums! I'll make sure I keep checking back here periodically to help out when I can. And good luck to everyone in their process as well.

Just got back from the interview, everything went well, it only took us 30 mins for the whole interview. Every basic questions and the lady who interviewed us said that we organized our paperwork so well that she did not need a lot of things from us. GC is on the way and I should be getting it in 2-4 weeks.

She only mentioned that I have to start preparing the paperwork for removal. She said I will not get an interview as long as the paperwork is good. Otherwise it will be a bad sign if I have interview at the office in 2 years.

Thank you everyone and good luck.

Greetings fellow VJers!

I've been a long-time lurker, and this is my first post. My fiancee entered on VWP, we were married this summer, and our timeline is below. We just had our interview today, which lasted a total of (at most) fifteen minutes, and have been recommended for approval for her green card.

Thank you all for your various posts and questions (and answers to questions from the knowledgeable among you!), which helped immensely in our preparation of the application and for the interview. I'll write up more about our story and reviews for the various experiences soon. Even though I've not yet contributed to any of the discussions, I really can't explain how invaluable everyone's experiences have been for us in letting us know what to expect. I will definitely start writing more soon to help others in whatever small way I can.

God bless you all, and thanks again!

Got the number for the FBI Biometric hotline and called and found that the ASC office had not submitted the fingerprints to them. That could probably be the cause why I havent received my interview letter yet. The customer rep who was very nice told me to contact the person who did the biometrics and tell them to send it in. Now I dont know what to do cause I am using a lawyer and she let us sign a contract saying that we should not contact USCIS unless its through her. What do I do?

By the way you can check your FBI FP clearance by calling 304- 625-5590. I know some people may be scared but its just like calling USCIS and to me the staff are much nicer and helpful

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Congratulations!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
