Can I apply for a social security number once I get my EAD if my I-94 is expired? it says here http://www.ssa.gov/ss5doc/oriselfres.htm To prove your U.S. immigration status, you must show us the current U.S. immigration document, I-94, Arrival/Departure Record, issued to you when you arrived in the United States.

How do i do that?

Go into settings at the top of the page and look for profile and then type your timeline as your signature. You can edit it whenever you want and it will automatically appear when you make a post.

Yes you can apply for SSN when you receive your EAD.

Hello everyone,

My husband told me that we just received the interview letter today, 11/5. Our interview is on 12/6 at 9:30am.

I am so glad that our package is good and no RFE at all.

I am not out of town and will not see the actual letter til next week.

Anyway, thank you for all your support and help!!

Got an email on Friday. They received my rfe and well I should be notified by mail within 60 days of their decision and so forth... the wait is on again.

Good Luck Briggi on receiving your appoinment letter. Hope it goes smoothly when the date arrives.

Got my biometrics done on Nov. 1st and got my notice for my interview today. The notice was dated on Nov. 4th and my interview is scheduled on 12/16/2010 @ 11:30am! :star: Couldn't be worst timing though... My baby is due that week-- but nothing is gonna stop us from getting to that interview... :wacko:

I was surprised they sent me the interview letter so soon too! My 90 day mark (since I sent my AOS package) would be on December 15th, and my scheduled interview is on the 16th. I was expecting to just get my EAD by then since the processing time for that is around 90 days. I'm just thanking God that I didn't get any RFE's or anything to delay the processing!
