ya, workers need to hear 'easy language' from you, when yer standing across the window.

The 'easiest' language, always seems to be - Please look me up in the SAVE database, I am a K-1 visa holder then show them the VISA PAGE in yer passport and the I-94.

Always, when/if they get confused, ask for supervisor.

Showing the regs is useful, 'towards the end of the conversation', but if you can 'get in easy' using 'easy language', then 2/3 of that battle is won.

How to lose the battle? When you accept 'I need to submit DHS/USCIS electronic verification on you' as the 'final answer' at the window.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Did you apply for your Social Security card in your married name?

Ivy applied today and at first the lady at the SS office tell her she could not get SS card,but Ivy give her the forum i printed from here that says K1 can get SS card, and after reading the forum she told Ivy she have her card in 2 weeks. Thanks VJ

oh no... i aply for my single name.. and the plan when it will delever here (it said two week delevery) im planning to go back there ang change my last name)
