I never used MySpace. I did used to use Friendster, many years ago.

I have a Friendster account as well. I was never active on it, only posted some photos so I could share with friends.

I think fb would be cooler if they'd allow a MySpace-style profile customization. That's the only thing they're really lacking now that their photo hosting is up to par. MySpace saw the writing on the wall and added the status updates (just like VJ did. HA!) but it was already too late. If they were really smart, they'd merge!

Yup, I hate that about MySpace too. MySpace has this ghetto feel to it for that reason. I feel like suddenly everyone around me is all pimped out and wearing lots of bling.

Facebook feels more grown up, less hood.
