Hey,

can anyone tell me if I've missed a trick. I see lots of posts on here from people tracking their progress online....touches etc,

We got an initial WAC reference number when the I294f was approved (13 digit number)but when we log on to the status update website, taht's all it tells you...that the initial application was approved. It doesn't appear to track anything further.

How do you get to see when your file has been touched? Should we have created an account when that number was originally received, and if so, can it be done now. Can I do it or does it have to be my Fiance (the USC).

Would appreciate your help guys.

thanks

It is a USCIS system that tracks the USCIS application/petition you submitted not a visa process tracking system... once the USCIS is done with it, then the tracking stops. Their is no "further" online system to track the visa process...

YMMV

Hi

When you go to that USCIS page with your WAC number. On the left hand side it has a little box that says...Sign into my account. Sign in there. If you have set it up to receive texts and or emails it will have a Y in those boxes. There is a section...Last updated. If that date changes, that is what they call a touch. I have heard people say that some do not change during the whole process, so don't worry if it doesn't change. I hope this is helpful. And either you or the USC can do this. My fiance and I both sign in regularly and check.

Hi

Yes, you need to create an account, you then log in and link your file number with your account and you can then see when it was 'last updated' i.e. touched

Luc

Edit: I have just noticed you are past the USCIS stage so therefore there is no further tracking service as such that I am aware of!

Was your I-129F approved already? The WAC number is given upon receipt of the petition. If you have only gotten the confirmation of receipt, or NOA1, then yes, you can track your progress on the USCIS website as others have mentioned above! Good luck to you!
