Olivia, was terrible what happened at JH yesterday. Was a sad situation.

MsW, hope you are doing good sweetie! Have a great weekend!

Mandy, I know you are lovin' it in Cairo!!! Would give anything to be back in Egypt!

Another hot one again today...101....it's neverending! I'm tryin' to think "fall" but then reality clicks in and it's back to thinkin' HOT!

Making some salsa and fajitas for dinner tonight. I love salsa!! Wael loves chips and salsa also.

Jeanne can I come over for dinner tonight? I LOVE chips & salsa as well! Chips have become Waleed's new bread.

wow your interview experience... i would literally pass out in an interview setting.. it makes me soooooooooooo nervous.. i pray you guys were approved.. sounds like it to me when you said she drew a red line through the visa :thumbs:

We just got home and checked our email and got one from USCIS. It says that our 10 year green card is approved and that our card production is ordered today! It also says to allow up to 30 days for it to arrive!

Happy Sunday MENA!!

Olivia ~ Congrats on the greencard, that is so great :dance::dance: , and I'm sure a big relief as well that you are done with immigration for awhile.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

When Mohamed and I would talk online many times he would tell me he had Shawarma for dinner, so last time I was here he introduced me to it and I loved it!!! So now, he is taking me all over to try Shawarma from many different places lol, so last night was Shawarma #3, then we went shopping at City Stars mall. OMG I couldn't believe how big this mall was, I was like a kid in a candy shop. Then we went to see Inception at the cinema there. The movie was ok, but half way through the movie they stopped it and everyone was getting up, and I was like "What the heck is going on." lol He said its a break during the movie, like intermission during a concert or sporting event haha.

07/30/10 - Case sent to Cairo embassy

08/05/10 - Case received at embassy

09/07/10 - Received packet 3 - FINALLY!!!

09/15-10 - 2nd trip to Egypt, returned home on 10/5/10

12/14/10 - Received interview date

01/09/11 - 3rd trip to Egypt

01/12/11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!...but AP

01/24/11 - Returned to the states without my habibi :(

04/06/11 - AP was completed!! :)

05/10/11 - Visa has been issued!!!

Good morning! Happy Sunday to all.

Mandy, first time I went to the movies in Alexandria I also was surprised when the "intermission"

came on. Wael said it was for people to have a cigarette!! Can you imagine having that here!

I loved Cairo's malls. They are beautiful! Glad you are having a good time!
