Hello Mena,

Been a while since postd here, although I try to make the time to read all posts :)

Well, I spend today helping out on the Job fair and holding interviews for graduates. Hubby now has a job and went to Green Bay for 1 week for orientation and training, so I am all alone.. It was Sad when he pull away from the parking lot and tears in my eyes. He reminded me that he is only 3 hours away and he will be home soon. This job will put him on the road a lot for more than 5 days a week, so not sure how it going to work.

This is when I kill myself at work and try to go to GYM to lose the weight i put on because of stress and the no focus diet.

I am happy things are in order as hubby work will ease things on him as he was starting to lose it and fight with little things. He started to be a change man just when he knew he was accepted and i could sense it.

I cannot wait for teh holidays to come so I can visit my family in Texas and have some quality time with them..

Pray for us and especially for my husband to change his mind and accept us to move to Dallas because I will be so happy there :)

Have a great evening.

Batta

Good Morning MENA, Happy Sunday!!!

Its been a while since I've been on here posting, a lot has been going on. It looks like I will be heading to Cairo probably end of November/early December. The company Mohamed works for will let him out of the contract, but he has to pay an unreasonable amount of money, but if this is what it takes then so be it. If they won't let him leave in November, then for sure he will leave on January 1st, but I'm praying for November. I also, emailed the embassy and explained the situation and all they said was to send the documents back asap (like we didn't know this  ) So Im hoping they will extend our NOA2 approval cuz it expires on 11/4.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend, and has a great day!!! :)

It's Monday Mania MENA!!

I hope everything is great for everyone. Me, I'm still trying to get into the groove of Monday and here it is past lunch time all ready.

I wish I could just pack it up and try again tomorrow!! Hmm doubt if my boss would like that!!

Batta~you're in my prayers girl. It's hard to do something that your husband doesn't want you to do even if you know that the end result with be better. I had been down that path before too. Both ways in fact! Regardless if you do what your husband wants or what you feel like you can do to help the situation, something will give and it will be fine. My husband didn't want me to work either, but since I didn't have a co-sponsor, I had to work!!:luv: Now he loves the money just as much as I do.....

Jenell~hope all is well with you! I love jazz too! Wow you must work in a very strict area if they have cops patrolling the parking lots for speeders!!!!

All right I hope everyone is having a great Monday...if not, tomorrow will be another day!!!!

LOL I just encountered an apple that had three of those suckers stuck to it, lol. They wouldn't come off!! I finally got so frustrated that I just peeled that part of the apple. Anyways had to comment because yes, I have also had issue with the fruit stickers. :D

Happy Tuesday! I get to go to work later today because of the home team football game playing and I have to be there to receive all the live shots and any feed out in the field. This will be my first evening shift during the weekdays. Still the same amount of hours but it will be busier. I really like my job and working in my field. I'm anxious to learn more and try my hand at other things. Yesterday I got to watch the 4:30 newscast in the production booth with the producer and the director. It was interesting to see all the communication between the behind the scenes people and the talent in front of the camera in the studio and out in the field. Technology really is amazing these days.

There has been a lot of snow in the mountains here. I've checked out all the ski resorts to see if the season is going to start in November. Sun Valley looks the most promising right now. I haven't been back on the mountain snowboarding since I was 23 and had a scary crash where I twisted my knee. I didn't want to go up again after that and I haven't but now that old feeling is coming back inside of me to get back up there and ride the mountains. It's a fun active sport but I might try learning to ski this time since I've only ever been a snowboarder from the ages of 16-23. I also want dh to go with me. I think it would be a fun active sport for both of us to be involved in and we could make some new circle of active friends who like to travel and ski. We have family down in Jackson Hole, WY where the earth quake was yesterday. No body was hurt as it was just a small 4.6 one but it got me thinking about the resort in Jackson Hole and I've always wanted to ski that place. I hear so many good things about it. The place I've always loved the most though is Sun Valley.
