I guess I didn't read all the post to see what happened in your world, but God willing all strifes will end soon for you. God never gives us more then we can handle (I swear God gives me alot more credit then I give myself sometimes). We have a saying in Islam from the Quran that goes as follows "Inna ma3al 3usri yusraa" which means that with every hardship comes ease. It's actually said twice in the Quran because God was playin' around when he said this Like Jeanne said we are all human and it's okay to be wrong.

Anyhow I have news coming today that I am super excited about. Hope everyone has an excited day as well

Hubby and I are planning to go to Egypt soon for a visit and a wedding.. We are not going to book any flights yet until we are done with the whole AOS process.. I can't wait to see my family!!

Good morning MENA ladies! I love this time of year!!! The weather in eastside Houston has been awesome! Much cooler and I love it!

The seller of the house we have looked at has agreed to a price with us, agreed to pay $4100 of the closing cost, offered to give us $1200 for appliances such as stove and refridgerator and buy us a $450 home warranty! Sooooo different than with the first house we looked at. Now we will be getting a home inspection on it and working our way to the closing!

This goes with all religion. No matter how low you feel or how much of a bad person you feel you are. There is always room for forgiveness. What makes us better is learning from our mistakes and doing our best to make ourselves a better person.

Regardless of how people put down your religion or any religion for that matter, it's how you feel is what counts.

BBA~ I know about high water bills, ours usually runs anywhere from $150 to 200 a month too. Darn artesian well dried up so I had to get our sprinkle system hooked up to the city water!!! I'd let my grass die if the stupid home owners association would be all in my business!!! :bonk:

After the last few days today is a good day. Good Afternoon mena! he surprised me by borrowing his friends phone right when I was starting to miss him and messaged me from mobile yahoo on his friends phone. LOL. I know it isnt big but it made me smile! Hee hee or can we say he is kissing up?

Please keep in mind that the rollercoaster of emotions that you've experienced due to his behavior the last couple days will only continue. Just a heads up in case you didn't enjoy those emotions you've experienced. Something to consider for the future.

Yeah I know that he is kissing up. My part on this hasnt been the best either now that I look back on things. Emotional roller coast is kind of the story of my life. The stress of deciding if i was a proper place for my boys to be raised or if their father would be a better home for them is a pretty big one. I know now that I cold not provide for them all by myself and give them all the quality interaction that they all need desperately. My youngest is disabled and so the others didnt get the attention that they needed from me at their ages. I now just have my daughters living with me. This will be better for my oldest one to have a break from her brothers because I know how she was feeling sometimes. I have a very tight bond with my children and having all 4 of them here was not a good thing for them. I know that the back and forth isnt good all the time but he truely isnt like this all the time. It has been a year since knowing him and it is only when I get very stressed out that these things happen and I have my parts in it too. I may not be the nicest person sometimes. Thank you for your kind words and I will think about everything.

BBangel~those little messages always made me feel good from hubby, but listen to JVTA is saying too. Being on a roller coaster for too long isn't very much fun.

BBA~it's a hard position to be in with all your kids. My prayers are with ya. I know it's hard to separate your kids like that. But doing what's best for all your kids is all you can do.

I don't have kids but I can speak from when I was a child and my parents where fighting over custody it was very hard for me. I wanted to be with my Mom and I was too young to make my small voice heard and matter to them with the emotional stuff the adult parents were going through. My Mom didn't want the kids split up and not know each other but I wish she had kept me as I wished for the horrific repercussions that followed. Within this last week I had a series of deeply suppressed memories resurface from when I was a very young child between the ages of I think 2 years old till 6 years old. It happened in that state between dreaming and just before waking. My former child psychologist said that these memories resurface when we feel the safest in our lives and are ready to deal with it. Before recently, for many years I thought it was normal not to remember much before the age of 6 years old because it was very hard for me to recall much. Though as of recent that changed when I woke up whimpering shaking and crying from my sleep from what resurfaced from those early ages. It's amazing what can stay deeply suppressed for nearly 30 years within ourselves. The day the dreams came up I told my husband. This kind of thing had only happened to me once before in my early 20's in the same way as it resurfaced recently, luckily I was seeing therapist then. Dh asked if I wanted to talk about these recent resurfaced memories. I told him not really. I feel it resurfaced to be released; forgiven and let go.

As far as the roller coaster ride it is part of the nature of Long Distance Relationships (LDR's). My dh was usually the steady rock and I was usually the emotional one. That's not to say that he isn't sensitive though. It's a learning process. Give, take, push buttons, learn which ones not to push. The longer the separation the more challenging the relationship becomes. We both had a lot of pressure on us. When going through times of personal stress it can and does stress the relationship a bit more. Both sides are having their own fight in their own worlds while trying to fight to hold onto their dream together.

I am sad, but it's well ... I haven't ALWAYS been right and have made mistakes.. it's called being human.. I am very sad, but it's well ... Olivia girl.. If you have been feeling that you want to die, for the last 5 years, it might be a good idea to seek couseling. Maybe you already have.I Hope that life becomes easier for you to handle. Happy Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday MENA! I guess it's technically Hump Day where I'm at. So Happy Hump day!

I've been busy training with the new job and it's going great. It's kind of surreal this new chapter of my life that I've started. Very, very cool! I haven't had much internet time with training, the commute and the house routine. But that's life right?

Now to get back to catching up with all of you sweet people.

Wow, Um Good Morning Mena!!! It is gorgeous outside and the leaves are starting to turn colors here in Iowa. I love this time of year just wish it didnt go by so fast with winter coming. If I could make a break for Egypt until winter was over I would jump on the next flight out. LOL. I will become a snowbird as we call the old people who live in the north in the summer and south in the winter but I will be a international snowbird, Egypt in the winter and USA in the summer. LOL, sorry I am in the best mood today really even with everything that has been going on. I am thinking of moving soon. I can not afford $150 water bills anymore every month.

night sailor's delight". So I googled this quote....Always was curious about it!!

Hubby for the 2 years green card on Saturday. He also passed the CDL test and is going to start looking for a job now.. feeling that things are getting in order.

Cannot believe it that today is 74 degree and Sunday going to be 56 Winter is coming to Chicago time to put the summer shoes and clothes away.. or pack and hit to home to Texas or as hubby say to Arizona only if I can find a job there

I am about 4 hours from Minneapolis and would love to move up there as my older sister lives in Oakdale but I am not having any luck finding anything online. I was actually up there in June to see about a place but it fell through even tho I really wanted it.

I know that the roller coasters arent fun for very long and it isnt all his fault with it and I have been causing just as much stress between us as he has. I am taking it slow on everything so much so that I have actually postponed my trip until next summer. That way I dont have to worry about my daughters getting to school and such. The boys are doing great at their dads so I see no harm in them being there really. I tell them I love them every day before they go to bed if they are not sent to bed early. I know when to pull the plug if it begins to spiral out of control. Slow and steady oh yeah and I have having him talk to a friend of mine who is a colonial in the Egyptian Army. More for my family's peace of mind then anything. I may never have been to Egypt but I do have connections. LOL Scaring the ####### out of him when he walks in and Tarek demands to know what his intentions are priceless, and I wish I could be a fly on the wall. I know I am bad but this is better then the scheme I had come up with my little brother to know his true intentions which involved pretending to be kidnapped at the airport. LOL. I hope everyone is having a good day and always look at the bright side of the days. I know I have had to look there more then a few times lately. If you hear of anything up there in the area pretty please let me know. I dont wanna be in Iowa any more. Which is said I was born and raised here and I dont want to live here anymore. Go figure. I have lived in Michigan and Illinois and Florida for a few months. Ho hummmmm. Im sorry kind of ramblings today.
