Good morning everyone!

I hope all is well in Mena land. I finally mailed my I-130 packet this morning to USCIS for my hubby. I requested an expedite on this one for their error on the last one. We'll see how it goes. Part of me is so relieved to have finally gotten it all together so perfectly. I really labored on it. Another part of me is anxious now to be starting all over again with the seemingly endless waiting and wondering. To all of you who are with your spouses and fiances now...congratulations. You are all so lucky and blessed.

Good morning everyone! Beautiful dark clouds with a hint of sun coming thru this morning! It actually

rained yesterday. Hopin' it will rain again.

Jenell, our trees don't actually change colors like other trees in the fall. They are either green or brown...depends on the rain.

Wish we could have some reds and golds like maple, oak, hickory etc....but we just have the trees of the desert.

We have the beautiful Palo Verde tree that blooms brilliant yellow in the spring.

Fall is the time I miss the east coast. Living in Virginia, I would go to Williamsburg frequently

and the colors there are breathtaking. There is also the Colonial Parkway drive that is

brilliantly colored in the fall. Wishin' I was back in VA!!!

I'm sure all you east coasters are beginning to enjoy the fall colors!

Hello everyone Olivia, congratulations again on your new job God is always on time Hey Jeanne aw man, no fall colors on the beautiful mountains there sorry about that, I didn't know.. but the Palo Verde tree in spring looks fantastic I was looking at my profile I did awhile back on Deviant Art.. I used to take pictures all the time but I haven't lately.. I love photography especially with manual slrs.. digital slrs are cheating because you can see what you've done and delete.. I will share some of my pictures in the gallery on here as soon as I can find them it finally rained there.. yayyyy

I got the job at the news station everybody after looking for a job for 9 months. I start Monday. It's part-time (25-30 hours a week) for the first year and no benefits. At this point I'm not picky. I finally got my foot in the door in my field and everybody has to start somewhere. My schedule is varied and they want me at their beck and call when a story breaks. They told us in college it wasn't going to be easy starting out in this career.

The irony is a news article was released just today saying that Idaho is number one in the nation for job creation now and a lot of new companies are looking to move to our state. This comes after a gallop poll in July saying that from Jan-June 2010 Idaho was in the bottom 10 for job creation. I wonder how we went all the way to #1 in two months?

Happy Full Moon & Thursday everyone! I have two calendars and one says the Fall Equinox was yesterday and the other says it's today on the full moon. According to the local astronomy society it was last night after 9pm Mountain Time here.

Here is a Full Moon Update I wanted to share from my friends.

My laptop is being nice right now though it completely shut down on me earlier for no reason and I thought it wasn't going to restart again. It's still doing the spastic I can type some of the time and I can't type the rest of the time. I have to shut down and restart and it doesn't always let me type. Maybe it just needs a break. My last laptop did a similar thing before I thought it was dead for good and I gave it a good long break before dh came and here and took it over. He says it works fine now. Go figure.

I'm also having trouble getting onto Facebook today. Anyone else? I get DNS server failure error. I had a dream last night about my new job and it was really easy editing video for the news. I hope it's like my dreams. I also saw the white owl a couple of times in my dreams.

Hello MENA Peeps! I've started my 3 days off today. Got my nails done and a 1 hour massage from Massage Envy. The house Adam and I were hoping for didnt go through on the sellers end. They were unwilling to do any repairs, so we offered to do them... then they needed a new roof and were only willing to pay $3000, so I found someone to do that for them... then they cancelled on selling the house. So, now we are either going into an apartment or going to check out another house tomorrow thats a 3 bedroom 1 bath.

Hope all is doing well! Has anyone seen Monica lately? I havent seen her on here or Facebook lately.

I've read up on it. You are correct in that Greek Mythology cites them as a symbol of wisdom and a symbol for the Goddess Athena. Maybe some Harry Potter and Hedwig excitement coming out in my subconscious as we get closer to the final two films, the first part comes out this November!

Sorry the house didn't go through. I know how excited you were for your first home together. It was meant to be so in the bigger scheme of things. There must be something better waiting for you both. Keep looking and taking good care of yourself. The massage and getting your nails done sounds like a really nice thing for yourself.

Oh, and Monica disappeared from VJ & FB a long time ago, shortly after the Oscars. I was thinking about her lately as well. I hope she is well and just needed sometime for herself to heal.

Good morning! Happy Friday to all!

Tammy, so sorry about the house. Something will come along when you least expect it.

Wael is up to his eyeballs in midterms. Had his first one yesterday, 1 tomorrow, 4 next week and 1 Oct 7th.

Don't know how he does it taking 21 units. He's one who loves studying....love his motivation!

Took a little break last night and watched "The Informant" with Matt Damon. Good movie!

When I was shopping I picked up a new soup from pacific foods. It was their organic creamy tomato.

This soup was awesome! Very light and flavors that kept you wanting another spoonful!! I will try their

other brands especially the butternut squash. Get's me in the mood for fall! Really excellent soup. Hope you

will try it.
