K-1 visa interview

Can Anyone tell me the average processing time for a visa review? My petition for a fiance visa was sent back here to the USCIS in the United States for review. My fiance had her 3rd interview at the U.S Embassy in Hong Kong just an hour ago and they (3 women 1 man)all but acussed her of wanting to come here for the sole purpose of a better job and life. Our petition is to expire on March 5, 2011. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

K1's almost never get reviewed , they are allowed to sit until they expire and you get a letter that says you are free to refile. Why would yours expire so far in the future ? Petitions are usually valid for 4 months and can be extended by the embassy but that usually dies at the interview.

So, you say it was sent back to the USCIS for a review? I would think it would go back to the NVC, wouldnt it? My application is waiting upon an initial review and its a 6-8week review process. It may be the same for a K-1 but im not a 100% sure because I filed for a K-3. I would say keep pushing at it. Maybe there is not enough evidence to show a "real" relationship. I wish you guys luck!!

Your fiancee was not properly prepared for either interview. If you wish to make this go faster, withdraw the petition you have by a certified letter to USCIS and file a new one. It will be much faster. The last petition like this I am aware of, it took the consulate 7 months just to send it back to USCIS. There is no timeline for this.

File a new petition. talk to people in the regional forum and have your fiancee better prepared next time.
