I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM VISA CENTER/MANILA EMBASSY TO CALL FOR AN INTERVIEW DATE. WHEN I SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW,

DOES THE VISA CENTER NOTIFY ME WITH INTERVIEW CONFIRMATION BY EMAIL OR LETTER OR BOTH?

IS IT CORRECT THAT I NEED THIS CONFIRMATION LETTER SO I CAN GO TO BANCO DE ORO T0 PAY MY $350 APPLICATION FEE?

ALSO, IS IT AT THIS POINT THAT THE VISA CENTER SENDS ME THE K-1 FORMS PACKET TO BE COMPLETED FOR MY INTERVIEW?

This was our experience last year for our K1.

You will get both letter and email. My fiancee letter came to her home.........2 weeks after her interview! My point is not to expect the letter if you are in the province. Philippine post office .....Have your fiancee scan and email you his copy of the letter for embassy and medical entrance. Also print out the email, my fiancee used both to do her medical and embassy interview.

The directions for BDO have changed since we went in July 2009. My wife did not need any letters or emails to go to the bank. My wife just went to the window and told them she wanted to pay the US embassy fee. They stamped one of her forms as proof. New directions say you will need your confirmation letter. We did not receive any packet from the embassy, all the forms and directions are online.....
