One expression I have long hated is "a call into".

As in, I have a call into Madame Cleo and I'm waiting for her to get back to me.

Why not just say I freakin called MC and da bich won't call me back!

I hate "waiting on". As in "I'm waiting on that report." You're waiting FOR the report. If you were waiting on it, you'd either be standing on it or bringing it coffee.

I am tempted to go through my Sent folder and find more instances of corporate-speak that I use. I hate this stuff but am totally guilty of using it all the time.
