I-485 Supporting Forms Question

I am filling out the I-485 with my wife. She entered on K1 w/ marriage within 90 days.

My question is this. If her SSN is going to be issued under her maiden name (problems at the SS office), then can we submit her I-485 with her married name? Furthermore, if I submit an I-765 (EAD), I-694 (medical), I-864 (Affidavit of Support), I-131 (advanced parol) along with the I-485, can those documents also be submitted in her married name? What if we submit the I-131 later? Does it make a difference?

As for the problems at the SS office:

They told me there was a name mismatch and they had to escalate the application to DHS because their computer "kicked it out" three times.

1. My Fiancee wrote her given (first) name as ABC ABC instead of ABCABC on her I-94 and apparently the boneheads at PoE entered it as ABC ABC instead of ABCABC despite having a passport AND K1 visa which said ABCABC.

2. My Fiancee wanted her married name on the SS card (we applied after marriage with exemplified marriage license from the state in hand), but where told that until DHS "updates their records," we couldn't apply for a SSN in any name other than her maiden name.

What now? Any ideas/comments/suggestions? I'd love to hear them.

Thanks.

All the forms I-485, I-765 and I-131 should be submitted on her married name. If she has taken her SSN under her maiden name she can have her name changed once she receives her GC. I had gotten my SSN under my maiden name and have applied my AOS on my married name... no probs so far. I will have to change my name in my SS records once I get my GC ---> change to my married name and remove the "Valid for work only with DHS Authorization"

Goodluck

Some do had problems applying SSN using their married name since Immigration has your fiance's maiden name in their records and not her married name. It's ok to apply on her maiden name and change it later on when you recieve the GC. Or you can wait for her GC and apply for SSN. This are the advice i got from here

definitely apply using the married name she eventually intends on using in the future, otherwise you will have to pay an additional fee to update the greencard, whereas the fee for updating the SSN card is $0. Good luck!
