Good to see that as crabby as I am today, I'm apparently not alone in that.

Peter Miami, one thing to think about Muslims. "Going back" to their country may not be a viable option...as the US -is- their country. Just because the Christian religion is largely represented and in many cases the 'loudest', it doesn't mean that other religions don't exist.

Read my post above. I am Catholic and I can tell you they have done and they are still doing a lot of things that they should not and that the “Inquisition” where total wrong. And killing all the Indian in South and Central American because they would not convert to Catholicism was wrong! And killing all the people around the world in name of religion was wrong!

And religion is great for the believers, what ever religion they want to practice “But do not force others to do as your religion wants”!

"Bite me" is an insult much like "f*** you" but I don't like this other phrase and didn't want to get banned for using that language.

You won't get banned. Nothing you do or say will get you banned. And you know exactly why.

Someone just pulled the reverse discrimination card!

No. VP knows what card I played. For reasons I can not get into, I can not elaborate.

I think you're the biggest tease I've ever "met". And that includes women.

I don't know what you're talking about at all.

Yeah that's the ticket

Did you skipped your medication today?

I am sure if I violated the TOS here I would be banned like any other.

and i'm sure you won't ;)

that's true... but I don't see hindus torching buildings whenever someone poke fun at their religions. Besides, where were the muslims protesting the terrorists when they torched those danish embassies? I don't mean to sound racist, but I don't see many muslims (aside from american muslims) do anything to help the world view of their religion. if that makes any sense

This blog entry provides an interesting analysis of the situation.

And Hindus are certainly not immune from this either.

I have no beef with anyone that wants to practice 'whatever' religion they do. I agree that a lot of cr@p goes on in the name of religion where it really shouldn't. I completely agree with not forcing others to live by your own standards, religious or otherwise.

I was just pointing out that telling "Muslims" to "go back to where they come from" may not take them off the North American continent. A Muslim isn't a nationality. There are plenty of American citizens who are of the Muslim faith.

I've lost track of the number of people who have told me to go home in the last few years. As much as I love central Wisconsin, you just can't find a decent thai restaurant and their public radio has nothing on Minnesota Public Radio. So I think I'll stay here in the Twin Cities, thank you very much :)

And the reason I was saying for Muslims to go back to their country is because if they hate our western ways for them to leave. If they accept them it is fine. Just do not force your religion upon us. This is my problem!
