Happy Hump Day MENA - ours is an extra special hump day as we were approved today for the 10 year greencard this morning!!!:dance::dance:

Feels like such a relief to move on from this phase, we walked outta the homeland security office ready to celebrate big time & it was only 8:55 am!!! Looking back ... gosh, we were soooo naive about this immigration thingie and it's truly been such a long long journey but on days like this .....were just grateful it was as smooth as it was (well at least the immigration part, marriage is a WHOLE "nother" journey  !!)

Wishing everyone as wonderful a day as we're having & the very best journey no matter what phase your in!!! :star:

Well everyone after I made this thread this morning I got an early call about the government job I've been jumping hoops through. They told me they selected another candidate. I'm not sore or too happy. I thanked them for letting me know. It's just another rejection in the 9-10 months that I've been looking for a job out of the 200+ applications I've filled out. Everyone at the house has the news now and we're sitting around making scones kind of bummed wondering what next then? The weather is matching our mood here, gray, gloomy & raining.
