After reading and re reading information pertaining to the 134 it dawned on me that the 134 I sent was a copy of original documents. Pay check stubs, tax returns and such. So being the ever ####### self I am I went to check that that was okay.....after hours of looking in the wrong places I found where the embassy in London wants notarized copies. I can't for the life of me find where I am suppose to send originals of pay check stubs, letters from employer, letter from the bank, and bank statements. Do I need the originals, motorized copies or what?

motorized copies might get their attention. What I did is send plain copies and then the originals in two separate sections with the instructions ( give them these - for the copies ) and ( let them examine these if they want but bring them home)

The only original papers I got from my fiance were the I-134 itself and the letter from employer. All the rest were copies (including the tax returns). I didn't have any problems at all...

If your copies are not motorized, rubber bands may do

I didn't get anything notarized (just used copies) but we didn't apply through the London consulate.

The only originals I sent were of the I-134 and the employer letter (specifically asked for more than one copy) The pay stubs were printed off of the web anyway, and the tax transcripts were also just print outs, no way to tell the difference between copy and original.

All we've got are the original I-134 and employer letters, and then copies of everything else.

The only things you need notarized copies of are things like birth certificate, marriage certificate, court papers, divorce decree, etc., which need to be certified, not notarized.

It only says notarized copy of tax return, nothing else says it needs to be notarized. And you can get around that by having a tax transcript. Since that comes from the US government itself, it doesn't need to be notarized They just want to make sure that you haven't made up a bunch of numbers and written them on a tax form to pretend you made more than you did.

Oh thank goodness. I was gonna go first thing in the morning and get these transcripts notarized. See what happens when you stay up all night bugging......you read stuff back wards.
