What consulate? It can take a few weeks to get your visa back.

Don't book any travel until the visa is in your hand

it's in Seoul, KOREA. I haven't get anything such as blue or any other letter for further administrative processing or missing document...

anyway hope for the best..

Do you have any agent in the Consulate to send the passport and visa back? If yes, talk to them and pay their fee to return it back.

might want to call DoS Hotline, get a Human and then inquire for Case Status.

Many times, is some delay, or *gasp* the interviewee was put into AP after interview, without notification.

You should call the DoS Hotline, today, inquire. (# in my profile, left panel)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I had an interview last week and still I haven't received my passport back.....any idea how long the process will take....

THEY didn't tell you when to come to pick it up??? Call them up.That's weird...Or go to your embassy page and see how long does it take to get visa..some emabssies give it out same day same next three some few weeks after..But you should be told there.

can anybody explain me what's AP all about? and how long the whole process will be??????? Is it about FBI name check/clearance?

Check with them exactly what it is for. APs will normally clear in couple of months and some have taken up to a year.

Since they have collected your passport, it may be a good sign and shoudn't take much time.
