Hello Everyone!!

I am printting my relationship evidence, but all my emails, comments ...everything it in spanish .....Do I have to translate everything????????

Please help me?? or can I just send all like that?? I know that I have to translate his birth certificate, but all the communication evidence that we have it is in spanish

For your initial filing, you don't need transcripts for communication and things. For your relationship evidence at interview, yes you'll need it translated.

So for proof of relationship, can i just send copy of passport stamps, flight ticket, pictures, What else Do I need to send??

Yes, for proof of relationship you only need one bit of solid evidence that you guys were in the same place at the same time, just once in the past two years. Passport stamps are perfect. You do not need to load a bunch of pictures and things in. Do the passport stamps and your boarding passes and you're absolutely fine.

Unfortunately I'm not totally clear on whether you need things professionally translated. I think you might need that, yes. Let's wait for a better authority to come by and answer. If in doubt, yes.

jejjeje I almost send everything without translation!! Well the birth certificate it is already translate but the emails ...everything it is in spanish ....jejeje

You can translate them yourself, as long as you provide the "certification of translator" that's available within the VJ Guides here. This is important only for the OFFICIAL documents (birth certificate, etc.). USCIS will not care about your e-mails, as long as you have provided other evidence to prove that you have seen your fiance in person within the last 2 years.

Go ahead and include several untranslated e-mails (and perhaps your telephone logs) with the I-129F filing. Again, USCIS will not care, but the embassy will receive what you have sent USCIS, which is always good, si man.

Be sure that you do NOT include any e-mails in which you jokingly call each other "husband & wife." That would kill your K-1 petition, si man!

I thought you did not need to translate documents if the language used is either English or the language used in your fiance(e)'s country. As others have said, you would need these e-mails at the interview and not for your original I 129 F submission.

Wow this is a very good question, i've never though about it.

But thinking abiut it, it will always depend on what Is written in the consular web page.what i have seen is, they accept englhish documents as well as spanish ones if this is an spanish parliant country. So based on that, i dont think you need to do that

For the I-129f you do not need emails or "proof of relationship" You need proof of meeting in person at least one time in the last two years. Emails cannot possibly prove that. You also do not need his birth certificate for the initial petition filing and you may not have to translate it for the consulate, depends on the consulate

If you wish to use them for proof at the consulate interview later, then it depends on the consulate. For example, Kiev has now changed their policy and does not require translations if the documents are in Russian, Ukrainian or English. Check with the consulate you will use for their rules. They should be available at the website.
