I just want to know whoever is a military sponsor here, what are the evidences for affidavit of support did u send. please help! should i send LES again and ask my husband to ask for statement of service? is that enough?and what taxes should he submit aside from w2? isn't it w2 is included in LES? thank you!

You're missing tax transcripts for 2009 and 2008. Have your husband call up IRS and ask for copies of tax return transcripts for missing years and submit those. What's with the LES for 2010 - he should have at least 8 of those so far - shows continued employment and helps determine current pay level.

thank you! is that w2 and 1040?

That will show what he submitted to IRS - no need for additional W2s or copies of 1040s - it will all be listed in the tax transcript.

I sent in a statement of service, all my LES from the past year, all my W2s, tax transcripts, printouts from the DOD website showing what all my entitlements should be. They have not reviewed it but I will let you know if I get an RFE. I made sure I added a lot of info because my AGI is so low. I pay little taxes because I deploy all the time so if you look at my AGI it seems like I'm very poor. :)

ok thank you so much. I wonder if it's ok to just send LES as proof of my hubby's employment. I already requested tax transcript so will just wait for it.

what service is he in? for AF you can log into VMPF and print off a statement of service with an official "electronic signature"

otherwise just write a memo on military letterhead stating that he's in the military, where he's stationed at, how long his commitment is, etc etc.. have his supervisor or commander sign off on it.

Hubby submitted a copy of military contract, his LES 12 months back, his TurboTax transcripts and W2's... I think that was all in the package.. He's been in the AF for a little over a year now and he doesn't have sufficient income before that, so I'll share if we get RFE also (hope not! :D )

Is this statement of service necessary since he submitted a copy of the contract??
