Hi Nela,

I just received an email from the NVC stating that the have received all the required fee and that we have to complete the DS-230. The letter doesn't mention the i-864, so I'm not sure if it has been processed.

I have been following your conversation. It would be easier for us to follow the timeline of you guys, if you guys could put your timeline as signature. THanks !

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK

Interview 08/02/2012

RFE DNA/ did the DNA test req 8/2/2012

8/3/12 Collection kit was mailed in Tirana embassy (for my brother)

8/13/12 my brother was called at the embbasy. and the kit was mailed out to DNA center in California.

9/7/12 The results mailed out to Tirana Embassy

9/14/12 embassy called my brother to mail his passport to get his visa.

DNA journey lasted 6 weeks

I mailed it today. Hopefully the case will be completed within a week and the interview will be scheduled.

I just called the NVC and the automated respond said that the NVC is waiting for the biographic form. Is this the DS-230 along with all the civil documents?

Hi, I'm new to this site and I'm just tying to get an idea of how long it is taking to process I-130s for LPRs, urs was approved in august, but when did u send it initially?

it was accepted by USCIS on 9/7/09.

I submitted it sometime in Auguest, 2009.

My Sister sent me the signed ds-230 thru the internet. Are they looking for the sign hard copy?

I called them yesterday and they told me they received the i864 on Friday and its under review.

DS-230 must be 'original' - no scans/copies allowed on NVC submission.

I just called the NVC and the automated respond said that the NVC is waiting for the biographic form. Is this the DS-230 along with all the civil documents?

Yup - 'biographic form' = DS-230 with all of the civil documents. Might be a good time to review http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Automated_Messages

What are you talking about? NVC doesn't have a login.

Yes it does, when you go to online payment ( in same web that you had made the paymenet of IV). whenever you cant logg in it means that case is about to complete.
