My Mom just received a letter stating that her petition for her daughter has been approved. My Mom is a LPR and my sister is 18 years old. The letter says that the NVC will contact her and to please allow at least 90 days before calling the NVC.

What is the next step and what would be the ETA for her to get an interview?

well hopefull if ur mom send everything quick and fast 2-3 months

just hope that u will get sooner cause i did that and i m lost.. just be patient and in my experiance hope for 5 or 4 months till she get interview.. and all depends on the interview day

HI we are in the same boat, My mom received The approval too (notice date 8/30/10) priority date is 2/16/10. So im still waitng from NVC to send us the package.

I think I made a mistake on the affidavit of support. My mom is the petitioner and the information on the I-864 was mine. I didn't include any of my Mom's tax info on it. Is this OK?

Nope, this is not OK

You'll need to have yer MOM, the PETITIONER, the PRIMARY SPONSER,

fill one out.

IF YOU ARE A CO-SPONSER, then

suggest you 'resubmit all'

with 2 I-864's , as

NVC is really loopy about this stuff.

Suggest you make a new set this weekend, send it in on Tuesday when the post office is open again.
