Ok...so i have a friend, who sent the I-751 jointly with his wife, but they separated a few weeks ago after the application was sent. I advised him that he needs to send a letter stating that they are separated because it is as of now a "joint filed petition". They are going to get a divorce in the next few months.

He received a letter the other day asking for more evidence. So i said for him to gather whatever he can, BUT i need someone, if they can...to give me a letter example of someone who has separated and what content should be written in it please. So he can send it off the letter along with the evidence extra that they asked for.

I told him that maybe he will get called in for an interview as well. Unfortunately he is Dominican as well. Here in Puerto Rico there is alot of fraud with Dominicans, so he is preparing himself if that happens.

His soon-to-be ex wife is not willing to co-operate anymore either in the process, so it is making him a little more nervous

So if anyone could do me an example of a letter to be sent to USCIS in regards to ajusting his petition due to separation heading for divorce would be greatly appreciated.

I told him as well that when he gets the divorce, that the petition that is running now has to be withdrawn, and a new one has to be filed
