College hiring in 2010 was abysmal so a 13.5% increase probably brings college hiring into "not all that bad" territory...

Students who graduate in 2011 might have an easier time finding jobs than those who graduated in 2010, according to a recently released survey.

Conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, or NACE, the survey found employers anticipate hiring 13.5 percent more college graduates from the class of 2011 than last year’s class.

One hundred ninety seven, or 23.4 percent, of NACE’s employer members responded to the survey.
