KP... It is not normal for Delhi Embassy to ask these documents... they are good in asking you to submit all the documents to VFS... We were told to submit all the documents with passport to VFS.

My case is not the only one... "someone wanting to "cover their butt" for saying OK to the visa for some odd reason"..... I like your comments, I totally agree with you on this...But don't know why?

There was nothing wrong with our case... immigration process itself is very intense and stressfull.

We were not given visa but asked to submit docs to VFS with the passport. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Deep2009, Sounds like it just a case of them receiving the documents, filing them, and giving you the visa, since the interview is already over. I think you'll have your spouse's visa in hand with visa very soon. But yes, this is all very unusual. NVC has everything in original now...my wife will hold on to a copy of everything...except for the health certificate which she will give to VFS. This is for Chennai...

Where am I at in the process? :
