I am considering using a Visa Process service company to go through the IR-1/CR-1 process. Can someone with some exsperience using one of these services suggest a company to use. I see many out there to choose from all about $800 to $1000 from start to finish, guarenteed approval. I understand there will other exspences to accur concerning consulate fees and medical fees etc. Please suggest a solid company to help process the paper work. Thanks

I don't have experience using such service, but if they guarantee approval they are lying, no one can guarantee that. If they offer your money back if it's not approved then maybe I'd consider it. If it was me I would do everything myself. It's really not that hard especially with all the help you can get on this website.

Don't use a visa service. You will be better off doing it yourself. Many people, myself included, took the DIY approach. You will be better off in the long run if you DIY as you will come to understand the process very well.

it's better to do by yourself and it so easy you you can fill the form by yourself

oh in fact the company will charge you 2000 us not include medical examine, and all stuffs,

im with everyone. don't pay for a service that you yourself can do easily. it gets a little confusing at times...but nothing overly major. you're gonna pay this visa service company $1,000 to do the same thing you're gonna be doing if you did it yourself. which is mail in completed form, wait, respond to any inquiry/RFE if any and then wait again. so pretty much these companies are only making money off of you for doing nothing extraordinary.

if you don't have any red flags in your case, just a straight forward application then by all means do it yourself, you just need to be detail oriented. i used an attorney stateside which was a waste of valuable time and money for our straight forward case. i did use a document prep service in bkk but just for the translation of the birth cert/ house book and thai id. paid about $30 USD but that was in 2007.

Thanks to my lawyer it took an extra 3 months to get my wife here. Once you sign the G-28, everything is pretty much out of your hands. Just read the guides here. If your case is straight forward, no need for an attorney. This website has everything you need.

I believe my case would be straight forward. I am dealing with an IRS problem presently but hope to have a solution/agreement in place with them before the start of this process. Damn IRS...always lurking! I am more than capable of taking on the process, I only worry that I may miss or mess up something and cause myself and my loved one unnesasary delays or even denial. It seems pretty straight forward, and they are not out to get me. I am just feeling the strain, being that I am at the very begining stage. Thanks for the advise. They offer money back guarantee but only if it is denied because of mis information given to them by us or we have not told the truth, or we have some criminal thing,something in our past and other stuff like that. Way too many outs for them. I can do this.
