I just heard on the news that this man's ex-wife has stated that he was not in the State at the time of the murder....anyone else hear that or was I still half asleep

Karr's brother, Nate, told Atlanta Fox affiliate WAGA that his family will provide information Friday to prove the allegation that Karr killed Ramsey is "just ridiculous."

Karr's ex-wife, Lara Karr, said she also doubted his admission that he had killed Ramsey, saying the couple were together in Alabama that entire Christmas season.

I also find it funny that the people complaining about the press coverage are doing the same thing against this guy.

Local news to me so I probably have an edge, I just watched Fox coverage and they were missing lots of info.

My current view is that its a put up job, this is not the murderer.

The DA is generally considered in these parts as an incompotent self publicist, the confusing thing is that there are good people who work for her who should have hopefully stopped her from making an idiot of herself.

The thing I do not understand is that he skipped bail on child molestation from CA, Sonoma County, why did they not pull him back on those charges?

In my opinion, this guy is just making up a good story to get out of Thailand. He would never last in a Thailand prison, so this is a good opportunity for him to get out of Thailand and get into a nice cushy US prison, where he gets three squares a day, a nice bed to sleep in, and gets to play in the exercise yard.

US prisons are a joke, but that could be a whole other topic.

haven't read this whole thread....but I think he is a child molester who became sooo enthralled with her and the story he's convinced himself he is guilty.

I agree 100%. He probably did something horrible in Thailand and he is running to a US prison.

I hope his is the guy, for the family’s sake but I do not believe he is. Even though he does look like a very weird guy and he is a pedophile which should be in jail at the very least.
