Perhaps the saddest part of this whole, horrendous affair, is that JonBenets mother Patsy died of cancer recently and never lived to see this development having lived with ten years of finger pointing (how's that for putting it politely!). The sad truth is that the press, and trial by media, is a very very sad part of life today.

Apparently its an American, John karr, 41 yr old teacher, according to CNN he's being held there on immigration issues awaiting the American cavalary arriving to bring him back.......

I just hope they don't give this poor guy the death sentence because executing someone who-

would be a tragic indictment of "America's thirst for revenge rather justice". No, it would be more humane to put him in with the general population in the prison system and let them carry out a real punishment.

I say they hang him! I worked in prisons before and while I agree it is very rough on some inmates, the majority are kickin it. I pay to go to a gym, they have it provided, big screen T.V's in the rec room, nice big meals, air condition and their own little bank account where they can go and buy their 'extras' as needed. I still to this day do not understand the prision system. My tax dollars are going to make crimials have a lush life when at times I don't know how I will put gas in my car. Somethings wrong with this picture.

I wouldn't be surprised if he made it up to get attention. Some of the things he says, about it would take hours to describe the death... little hints of mystery "it didn't happen as you think"... it all is begging for attention.

I wouldn't be surprised if he made it up to get attention. Some of the things he says, about it would take hours to describe the death... little hints of mystery "it didn't happen as you think"... it all is begging for attention.

As I recall, the Ramseys pretty much turned off the public very early in the murder of their daughter (May she RIP). Did they call the police...no, they called their attorney and some publicist guy to help maintain their public image. They virtually refused to cooperate with the investigation...maybe that was justified considering the incompetent boobs they were dealing with. Every interview with the police had almost had to be done under supoena.

The public basically hated them....I know that I would be calling the police every hour, and giving them any info whatsoever....I would have been desperate....were they???....no..it was their public image.

Sad for all. Still waiting to hear what this clown had to do with it....what was the connection...???

Sometime in some crimes like these, they will get 20 calls from ppl confessing. If he is guilty......get out the rope...that may even be too good for him. Do they still section and quarter??

Actually, I think perhaps the saddest part (set aside from this poor unfortunate girl's murder) is that parents dress up six year olds like Lolitas and encourage them to be precocious Children should be allowed to be children. Adult life comes soon enough.... Until this case, I never knew there were such 'beauty pageants'

However, I do hope that this guy is the one who did it and that he gets his just desserts (though I doubt he will....He will probably be certified insane, commit suicide, or whatever....)
