Hi all and thanks for support and help so far. Soon I'll go to the interview and i m asking if the Western receipts will help me prove that my fiance has supported me in the last months. The question is: these bills are a red flag or help me? To add to the file or not? :help:

I wouldn't use them - depending on the embassy - they could be considered "payments" to get married.

Research the embassy in question to figure out what you may want to take with you.

Moving from K-1 to Embassy - interview related at the embassy.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

It depends on the consulate. In some countries, cash gifts from the petitioner help to alleviate suspicion that the beneficiary, or someone on their behalf, is paying the US citizen to help the beneficiary immigrate. In other countries, cash gifts give the appearance that the US citizen is "purchasing" a spouse.

I don't have time to do the research for you now. I recommend reading the consulate reviews and the regional forum for Romania. Look specifically to see if consular officers sometimes ask if the beneficiary has received cash gifts, and asks to see the receipts, and whether it has a positive or negative outcome on the interview.

The general view around here regarding money transfer receipts is to leave them out unless you're certain your consulate views them as a positive thing.
