Some highlights on Sunday night, week 5

KC is no longer undefeated.

The LIONS are showing something, they didn't act like an 0-4 team at all today, as they beat the Rams to go 1-4.

The Bears Defense is the best in the NFL for my money. Peppers & Urlacher combine to strike fear into the hearts of any opposing offense. We won today on our running game & defense. No QB required, as Collins showed why he's been a benchwarmer for 17 years as a pro.

KC was the last undefeated team, weren't they? This is so early to have all teams with at least one loss. Usually Indy wins the first 10 or 12. Favre sucks and should have retired 3 years ago.

Cardinals QB Max Hall got plenty of help from the defense and special teams in a 30-20 win. ..............phew, what a crazy game it was! Lots of fumbles and helmets flying off.

Interesting that both the Saints/Cardinals game and the Eagles/49ers ended in similar fashion:

Saints (49ers) down by 3 with seconds left on the clock, trying for a one last field-goal to even it up, and Brees (Alex Smith) throwing for an interception. In the Cardinals game, they even returned the interception for a TD, the Eagles were content with just taking a knee and winning by 3.

49ers are now 0-5. Ouch. Singletary's days in SF are numbered I would think.

The Panthers and the 49'ers will eventually win, the Bills on the other hand seem to have no impetus to get any kind of offence going. The defence isn't the best but the offence is horrible. No offensive line and mediocre QBs at best. Old Man Wilson doesn't care, those four Super Bowl trips took the fight out of him. When he goes there will be a big effort to prevent the Bills from moving to Toronto.

i am a sad niners fan. mike singletary and i now have an official misunderstanding. "almost benched smith" while he didn't singlehandedly lose this one like many of them. the picks are killing him.
