I thought so too, but I heard this morning on the radio reasons why I have changed his mind. He doesn't need the money, he aparently was one of the few who was smart with his money, and his family hates it there with a passion. The bungles need to be sold to a competent ownership.

i still think he'll be back. its not about the money, its the competitive drive. i just think once someone has reached the pro level of any sport, they become even more competitive. if the body is able, they will compete. very few walk away from football while still able to compete at an elite level..ie barry sanders, tiki barber..etc. he has the money for his family to live anywhere while he travels. there are a few teams that would be better off if someone else owned them.

I still think he'll follow through, and I think the reason you gave actually solidifies my position. He's a competitive guy, so why would you bother playing for a team that has no chance of even being competitive. Seriously, for the Bengals to be competitive, they would have to facilitate a sale of the team, and fire everyone on that team. Scrap it and start anew.

Yes... lucky me. I live a life most dream of friend. What the Browns, Steelers, or any of the criminal laden organizations of the NFL do is of little consequence to me.

I believe the Chiefs will be watching from home this year as well?
